K. Mitsotakis for TEF: Measured measures – I do not tolerate submitters

LAST UPDATE: 12.15

The message that the Government will continue to support the Citizens but the measures announced by the TIF will be “measured” was reserved by the Prime Minister during his presentation to the Cabinet, which is broadcast live and addressed to the Citizens as well.

“The Government has proven that it knows and can raise dykes in the increases. It said it and did it and is doing it on the electricity bills. It says it and will continue to do it wherever and as needed,” said K. Mitsotakis precisely. completing:

“But be careful, the resources are not inexhaustible and we must not forget that if the state today is able to support households and businesses with more than 2 billion per month for their electricity bills, it also owes it to the prudent policy of which increased the public wealth so that it could be returned to the citizens”.

The prime minister’s distaste also had reference to the expectations for the announcements from the TIF forum:

“Consequently, our measures will always be measured and without temporary needs undermining national necessities. I say this because I hear or read – this always happens, you know, before the International Exhibition of Thessaloniki – about a “tsunami” of impending benefits, which they often also create false expectations”.

I don’t tolerate submissives

The prime minister’s other message was to the interior of his government:

“Greece does not turn back, nor does it change its historical choices. It remains firmly on the trajectory of Europe and liberal democracy, with a government that responds to the challenges of the moment, with society as an ally, without succumbing to pressures, but neither and to any of its own weaknesses”, he said and warned: “I assure you, that I am the first to tolerate neither submissives, nor compromise with our mistakes. This, after all, is also our great strength: the truth, trust in the citizen and the work for the present and the future that we want. So we continue. And now we can start our agenda today.”

The agenda of today’s Cabinet also includes:
