K. Mitsotakis: I will run out of four years

– The health system suffers from everything. We are below the European average in terms of funding.

– It is really a pity and sad that we can not agree politically, at least with the official opposition, at least on some key changes that need to be made. We say that no unit needs to be closed, but its direction may change. It is possible that the official opposition says that no intervention should be made… The hospital charter will be a second four-year intervention…

– The specialties, as announced, should be related to the needs of the country.

– During the pandemic, the private sector helped the public sector when needed. It was a national health system, in which public structures were merged with private ones. I firmly believe in a strong national health system. The national health system will always be the pillar of health benefits.

– The pillars are primary, secondary and digital health, which run horizontally all our actions.
