The Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a meeting today at 12:00 at the Maximos Palace, with the new Presidency of the Hellenic Confederation of Trade and Entrepreneurship.
The Prime Minister thanked the commercial world for the support it provided throughout the pandemic in complying with the protection measures against Covid-19 and the high level of compliance with them. He stressed that the government has implemented almost all of its pre-election commitments for horizontal reductions in taxes and contributions resulting in a significant economic recovery in 2021, while urging ESEE representatives to use the state financial tools for energy savings and digital transformation of their businesses.
The President of ESEE George Karanikas noted that “the support of small and medium enterprises by the government, which was crucial for their survival in the first waves of the pandemic, must now evolve into a network of measures to alleviate tax burdens and stimulate liquidity, improving the criteria for financing SMEs through the banking system and the new NSRF “.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis and the Minister of State Akis Skertsos.
