K. Pierrakakis-14th SW Conference: Let us not allow anarchy to rule Greece

The Minister of Digital Government Kyriakos Pierrakakis stated in his speech that “today we unite all Greeks” and added that the digital reform unites all citizens. “We realized the vision of the prime minister, we tore down the inner walls of the state, we improved the daily lives of the people and now 1,400 services serve digitally. We received a country with less than 9 million digital transactions, and last year we had 567 million transactions. More than 60 queues “Digital politics is a social policy because it helps the everyday life of citizens,” said Mr. Pierrakakis.

He also said that “there is a steady hand at the helm of the country and it must continue to exist” and spoke of agreements with society, but which will have clauses.

“This is the first clause of unity, and the second is the clause of efficiency. To realize what you promise. An independent Greece needs autonomous governments and the hand of Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the helm,” said the Minister of Digital Government.

He added that “the children born in 2004 turn 18 this year” and wondered: “What do we say to these children? Greece has a history. It has a perspective? Our decision is to answer in the affirmative. Yes, Greece has a future and we ensure it. “Our opponents are trapped in a debate of division, let us shift the debate to perspective. Everyone is talking about artificial intelligence today while our opponents are talking about Article 16,” he said.

Mr. Pierrakakis also referred to the danger of anarchy and said that we must “promise that we will not allow anarchy to rule Greece, through parties and groups that will consent to anarchy. We are working not to go back to yesterday.”

Finally, closing his speech, he described the use of the Recovery Fund and whether it will be implemented properly or not as a stake similar to that of the Marshall Plan.
