“I am glad to be among you today, for the cutting of the New Year’s pie. The honor and responsibility that you shoulder while serving in the Presidential Guard is great and the way you perform your duties is exemplary, causing the appreciation and admiration of all of us.
We had a difficult year, with the pandemic testing our resilience. But I hope that this year we will finally return to normalcy. As I have repeatedly stressed, compliance with the measures, and in particular mass vaccination, is the only way to our freedom.
