K. Skrekas: We are discussing with Egypt the possibility of building a submarine gas pipeline

Mr. Skrekas explained that with his Egyptian counterpart, Tarek El Mola, a “joint memorandum of cooperation with Egypt will be signed, which will include issues of cooperation related to the investigation of the possibility of building a direct submarine gas pipeline, Egypt – Greece The possibility of transporting liquefied natural gas from Egypt to Greece, and of course the possibility of cooperating in research and development of natural gas fields. which has started, has grown and is already bearing fruit “.

As the minister pointed out, “this is a continuation of the meetings between Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. We came to Egypt a few months ago.
