Democratic presidential nominee and US vice president Kamala Harris announced Friday her intention to form a cross-party advisory group. They will provide her with proposals to improve her policy if she is elected on November 5. Harris also reiterated that she would appoint a Republican to her administration. “I don’t want back benders. I want people who will come (…) and give ideas,” she said, speaking at an event in Arizona for Republican supporters of her campaign. “For this I will set up a cross-party council (…) to do the work that is important,” he added. Harris has been touring Nevada and Arizona since Wednesday, two states considered bipartisan. She leads her Republican rival Donald Trump by three points, 46 percent to 43 percent, according to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll. source: APE
