Kansas has sued Pfizer, accusing the pharmaceutical giant of misleading the public about its COVID-19 vaccine by hiding its risks and making false claims about its effectiveness. The lawsuit was filed by state Attorney General Kris Kobach in Kansas District Court in Thomas County. The lawsuit alleges the drug company’s alleged misrepresentations violated the Kansas Consumer Protection Act and seeks undisclosed monetary damages, the nypost reports. “Pfizer made multiple misleading statements to deceive the public about its vaccine at a time when Americans needed the truth,” the Kansas Attorney General said in a statement.
