Kanye West Banned From Grammys For Online Behavior

Kanye West out of the Grammys: the rapper will not be able to perform live during the next awards ceremony of the most prestigious awards in the music field, as he anticipated Variety. Delivery will take place on Sunday 3 April – after the postponement due to Covid – live from the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, but will do without the artist on stage. The event staff would have communicated this by telephone to the musician’s entourage for “his worrying online behavior”.

Ye, already a winner of 22 awards, is nominated in five categories including Best Album of the Year with Donda (but also for Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song and Best Collaboration with a Rap Artist), but was banned from the organization. After the 24-hour ban from Instagram for «violation of the bullying policyharassment and hate speech “comes another disciplinary measure against him.

In fact, it is feared that the artist could use the event to address new insults to Pete Davidson, current partner of ex-wife Kim Kardashian (after all he kills him in the new video), as well as the mother of his four children (with whom he is fighting for custody). But anything could happen: on the other hand in 2005 during a TV show in support of the victims of Hurricane Katrina had said: “George Bush doesn’t care about black people”.

Not to mention that West had addressed vitriolic posts on social media precisely towards the presenter of the evening Trevor Noah, guilty of having made comments on his divorce in the Daily Show.
