‘Karate Kid’ will have a new film adaptation and will not be connected to ‘Cobra Kai’

Sony Pictures has just announced that it is working on a new movie from Karate Kid. The news comes just a few days after Netflix premiered the fifth season of cobra kaisequel series to the adventures of Daniel LaRusso.

At the moment, it is not known if Ralph Macchio and William Zabka will appear in this new production with their respective characters. However, there is already a tentative date for the premiere of the tape.
