A subject was injured after assaulting a bus ticket seller at the Santa María Huatulco terminal in Oaxaca, Mexico. However, he was released, since the authorities indicated that the injuries that the woman presented “did not put his life at risk.”
Through social networks there has been a video captured by a security camera where, according to Internet users, an alleged ex-soldier assaults a woman who was attending the bus ticket office for the Huatulco 2000 line, located in the state capital, on May 17.
The recording shows that the subject, who wears a red shirt, jeans and carrying a black backpack, lashes out at the employee in a fit of rage after hearing that she won’t get a refund for missing her trip because it was her fault. Not wanting to witness the scene, the people who were in the waiting room begin to leave the place in terror.
The individual takes a bottle from the locker, apparently of antibacterial gel, and throws it against the glass of the window. Later, he begins to throw blows with his fist with the clear objective of reaching the woman who attends him.
Seconds later, the subject tries to enter the cubicle where the employee is, so he proceeds to hit the door until it breaks. As the woman is heard begging him to stop assaulting her, the man realizes that she has injured her right arm.
When he begins to bleed, his attitude immediately changes to ask the victim for help and implore him to call an ambulance in fear of bleeding to death on the spot. Moments later, the aggressor goes to the waiting room, where one of the managers of the establishment is seen entering and who also asks for support.
Due to the aggression, the subject was arrested and placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry, justifying his actions on the grounds that he had to reach his destination as soon as possible because it was the only opportunity to see his daughter, who lives in the custody of his mother. Minutes later, he was released, since the authorities did not consider that the injuries that the woman presented put his life at risk.
In accordance with The universal, after filing the complaint and after the subject received medical attention, the parties involved reached an agreement in which the victim only demanded repair of the damage, which was covered by the aggressor. It is known that the woman did not want to continue with the process, so the case was closed by mutual agreement.
