Karoline Lima cries when reporting aesthetic pressure: “I took Ozempic”

The influencer Karoline Lima 28, made a statement on Monday (23) after receiving criticism from internet users. In her story, she became emotional when sharing that she had taken the medication Ozempic to lose weight due to other people’s comments.

“I want to talk to you. […] I wanted to understand from the heart what is happening to people on the internet. Why are people becoming more and more bitter and critical?” he asked.

She then gave an example and revealed that she was called “futile” for complaining about missing Karol G’s show, on Rock in Rio 2024 .

“Yesterday I shared with you that I was very sad about not going to Karol G’s show. But I didn’t say that to get messages or for people to feel sorry for me. I shared it because I wanted to talk,” she explained.

“This came out in some news portals and many people started calling me frivolous. […] I understand, on one hand it even makes sense. But if you don’t like it, just move on.”

It was then that Karoline Lima revealed that she had taken weight loss pills, even though she was a thin person, after receiving criticism about her body on the internet.

“I made the mistake of taking Ozempic because they told me I was fat and had a pregnant belly. When all I had was my period… But I took Ozempic because of you,” she lamented.

The girlfriend of soccer player Léo Pereira and ex-girlfriend of Éder Militão was moved to tears when she told her followers that these attacks reach people and that “it’s not just a message and it affects people, causing image distortion, depression and anxiety.” Karoline Lima also made a request to internet users: “You have to stop this.”
