Kate and William confirm: they will be at the biggest London event of the year

Third red carpet in less than two months for William and Kate. After the premiere of James Bond: No Time To Die they Earthshot Prize Awards, the Dukes of Cambridge confirmed their presence also at the Royal Variety Performance, a charity event to be held on November 18th at the Royal Albert Hall in London, in favor of the Royal Variety Charity.

Sponsored by Queen Elizabeth herself, the Royal Variety Charity is a charity that supports artists who, for age or other reasons, find themselves in conditions of illness or poverty, and every year organizes a major fundraising event in which characters from the British show business and members of the royal family.

After the 2020 break, when, due to the pandemic, the event took place in Blackpool without an audience and Prince Charles intervened only with a video message, this year the Royal Variety Performance returns to its former glory and will be represented by William and Kate.

Not a first time for them: the dukes had debuted at the evening in 2014, and had returned in 2017 and 2019, giving way to Harry and Meghan in 2018. But this year, in the centenary of the royal patronage (it was George V in 1921 the first patron of the Charity), the task of representing the Sovereign was assigned to who one day will take her place on the throne, that is William.

The event will be attended by the most acclaimed stars of British showbusiness: the evening will be presented by Alan Carr and performances by Ed Sheeran, Elvis Costello, Sir Rod Stewart, James Blunt, of the cast of musicals are expected Matilda e red Mill, currently on stage in London, and also by Cirque du Soleil. But surely, as it was on the red carpet of the premiere of the new James Bond, the Duchess of Cambridge will once again attract the flashes, always impeccably charming. All that remains is to wait on November 18 for confirmation.
