The new Rock & Roll Hall of Fame stars were announced this Wednesday (3). Freshmen include Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine, DJ Kool Herc, Link Wray, Chaka Khan, Al Kooper and Elton John’s writing partner Bernie Taupin.

Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine and The Spinners are in the top category. It is worth noting that Elliott is the first female rapper to be nominated.
