Kate Middleton and William, the happy smiles of the royal family

Two years after the last St. Patrick’s Day parade, Kate Middleton and the prince William they visited the First Battalion of the Irish Guards stationed at Mons Barracks, in Aldershot, Hampshire, to celebrate one of the most heartfelt anniversaries in Anglo-Saxon countries.

Green total look for her, as always on March 17th, and uniform for him, who has the rank of colonel. the couple offered the traditional clover sprigs to the officers and guards, but it all took place in a decidedly informal atmosphere.

The real star of the day, once again, was the Duchess, who was also the protagonist of funny moments, from the meeting with Turlough Mor, the battalion’s mascot, to that with little Gaia Money, daughter of a colonel.

The 20-month-old girl brought Kate a bouquet of flowers and then tried on her dad’s headdress, with big laughs from everyone.

For the royal couple it was just one of the many institutional commitments this summer.

Next March 19th Kate and William will leave for a royal tour in the Caribbean, which will end on the 26th. The dukes will visit Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas for the first time. In April, however, Wessex’s accounts will be in other Caribbean countries. Trips that are part of the celebrations for the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s reign, and which will also take Princess Anne to Papua New Guinea and the Prince of Wales to Ireland.

With Andrew of York out of the way and Harry and Meghan away from The Firm the rest of the family has to get busy. Everyone is making an important contribution in terms of commitment and energy. The future of the monarchy is now all in their hands.
