Kate Middleton changed universities to get to know Prince William

Kate Middleton ha known Prince William all’University of St. Andrews, Scotland in 2001. Until now it had always been said that the architect of the lucky meeting and the consequent lucky marriage of Catherine, a country girl without a drop of blue blood, was a mother. Carole Middleton: the lady would have enrolled the eldest daughter at St. Andrews University, where William was studying, with a specific purpose: make her take a husband. And not just any one.

But now another version of the story has come up where Mrs. Carole has nothing to do with it.

Jasper Selwyn, career consultant at Marlborough College where Kate studied, revealed al Daily Express than the present Duchess of Cambridge in 2000 she was accepted at the University of Edinburgh. Her future seemed decided: she would have signed up there with Alice and Emilia, her friends since college.

Peerage of Prince William, Kate era a year ahead of him in the school system. In fact, after college, Lady Diana’s son took a sabbatical to do the military service in Belize and would return to the schools, in the United Kingdom, only in 2001.

At the news that William, having returned from abroad, would be enrolled at St. Andrew’s University, Kate Middleton had no doubts. To hell with the future at the University of Edinburgh. Better to lose a year of studies and enroll in the same institution as the prince. And, in particular, at the same degree course in History of Art. Never was an investment more profitable.

William and Kate met in the first year. Two weeks after the courses began, the prince invited her to breakfast with his group. Kate became the friend to count on, the best at hockey. The “sexy twist” is dated January 2002. When Miss Middleton paraded for charity in lingerie. “Wow, Kate is hot!” exclaimed the prince in surprise. The rest is history. But nothing happened by chance. And Mom Carole, apparently, has nothing to do with it.
