Kate Middleton in Copenhagen: the meeting with Mary of Denmark

First post-pandemic solitary royal tour for Kate Middleton, destination Denmark. A dense program concentrated in just two days in Copenhagen, focused on the mental health of the little ones.

Kate met some educators on Tuesday 22 February, while on the morning of 23 she visited the Stenurten Forest Kindergarten, a school where the relationship with nature is an integral part of teaching methods. Here Middleton appeared completely at ease with her, three games with the little ones, laughter and chatter around the fire.

A quick change of clothes and then it was the turn of the institutional meetings. In Amalienborg, the official residence of the Danish royals, the meeting with Queen Margrethe and Princess Mary, wife of Crown Prince Frederik.

A cordial meeting full of smiles, for women only. Kate Middleton, in fact, had already met Mary of Denmark on other occasions, but it is the first time that the two have seen each other without their respective husbands.

The two women have a lot in common. Ten years apart, both entered into a royal family as bourgeois, both loved by citizens, busy mothers, even have the same tastes in terms of looks. After the usual photos, the two future queens continued the chat during a private lunch hosted in Mary’s residence and her husband Frederik. Kate’s last stop before returning to London.

Once again everything was flawless: Kate confirms that she is the new face of the British monarchy, one you can really count on.
