Kate was diagnosed with cancer in March 2024 after months of speculation about her health. However, the British royal family gave no details about the cancer type.
In September last year, she said she completed chemotherapy and gradually returning to public life. The first work commitment after this was a meeting on early childhood actions at Windsor castle on the 17th of that month.
“As summer comes to an end, I can’t say the relief that it is finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” Kate said at the time, noting that the months that followed after the diagnosis were “incredibly difficult” for her as for the family.
In early 2025, the princess announced that cancer is in remission, highlighting being focused on recovery.
