Kate Middleton, the first state reception as Princess of Wales (with tribute to Diana?)

On which will the choice of fall Kate Middleton no one can know for sure, it is though likely – given that this is his first major institutional appointment since Princess of Wales – that you opt for a tribute to Dianawearing one of the tiaras that Lady D has sported in the past.

Despite having been in the family for over a decade, Kate – for protocol issues — sported that particular piece of jewelry on just eleven occasions, changing only three: the Cartier Halo Tiaraa loan granted by Queen Elizabeth on the occasion of the royal wedding, the lotus flower tiara, belonged to Queen Motherand the very famous Lover’s Knot, became popular thanks to Lady Diana.

The “lover’s knot” accompanied the late Princess of Wales for almost all of his real lifeexcept for the marriage with Carlo when he preferred a Spencer family heirloom. The Lover’s Knot is then returned to the Windsor home chest after the divorce and there are many ready to bet that tonight too, on Kate’s head, this will shine wonderful jewel.

For others, however, Kate will choose another diadem, perhaps in memory of Queen Elizabeth. Besides, at the table much will be said about His Majesty and his seventy-year reign: that’s for sure.
