Kate Middleton: “William, my greatest support”

Kate Middleton has no problem admitting it: William has always been his greatest support, especially after such a busy year as the one just ended. In a recent video call with other parents posted on the royal couple’s Instagram profile, the Duchess of Cambridge explained that her “greatest support” during the pandemic was her husband: “Unable to rely on the usual support systems, this has been a really difficult year for many families “ added Kate who, during the Covid-19 outbreak, continued to team up with William and not fail in his royal duties, including a UK train tour in December.

The couple will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary next April, confirming a strong union that, over the years, has seen them go from newly weds with a passion for travel to responsible and loving parents of their three children: George, 7, Charlotte, 5, and Louis, 2. Both Kate and William, in fact, devote a lot of attention to the education of the little ones, while not disdaining couple moments such as an evening out in the pub when it could be done. “I was impressed when I realized they are a normal and lovely couple,” a local explained to People confirming the impression that Kate herself revealed during the video call.

Speaking of how she dealt with the epidemic as a parent, Middleton did not hide the fact that it was “exhausting”, especially for her poor knowledge in mathematics that did not allow her to help her children with their homework as she would have liked. Details are wasted: during the emergency Kate reinvented herself as the family hairdresser – “much to my children’s horror” – and William spent all his time playing with George, Charlotte and Louis, jovial moments immortalized by Kate and published on Instagram last June, on the occasion of the prince’s birthday. Between visits to the homeless and projects such as the photographic initiative promoted by Hold Still to capture scenes of the pandemic, William and Kate continue their lives in a reasonable way, dividing between the Sandringham house made available by Queen Elizabeth to work and their country house, Anmer Hall, a few miles away.
