Kate Winslet to parents: «Don’t give mobile phones to your young children: they must enjoy real life»

Interviewed by the BBC, Kate Winslet has expressed her opinion on the controversial issue of cell phones given by parents to children too young to own this tool (with all that goes with it).

”I have no magic formula, but I have an opinion: Don’t let your kids have cell phones if they’re too young to really know what to do with them. My kids don’t have social media. You can tell them: “You can’t have a cell phone because I want you to enjoy real life, I want you to be a child, to be able to look at the clouds without needing to photograph them and post them on Instagram», commented the Oscar-winning actress, who agreed with Rachel de Souza, Children’s Commissioner of the United Kingdom, on the need to ban smartphones for children.
