Katy Perry in Space: Blue Origin concludes mission with female crew

Blue Origin launched, at 10:30 am (Brasília time) this Monday (14) the 31st Mission of the New Shepard rocket, with singer Katy Perry and five other women.

The flight had the first 100% female crew of the company’s history and lasted about 11 minutes.

The six women crossed the Karm line – a theoretical border located 100 kilometers above sea level, which is usually considered the limit between the earth’s atmosphere and the outer space.

After officially arrived in the space, the passengers were able to float unmickle and observe our planet for about four minutes. After that, they started the return to Earth.

The crew capsule separated from the rest of the ship and landed with the aid of parachute.
