Katy Perry, Lana Del Rey and more: see July’s music releases

The month of July has arrived and with it, new musical releases. Some artists, such as Katy Perry It is Lana Del Rey, and musical groups, such as the South Korean Stray Kids have already announced songs and albums for the next few days of the month.

Katy Perry and Lana Del Rey release songs from their new studio albums. Stray Kids, in turn, makes their comeback to music with a new album coming out.

Other artists also reveal their new projects. Below, CNN gathered the most anticipated music releases of June!

Lana Del Rey & Quavo – “Tough” (July 3)

Lana Del Rey and Quavo announced the partnership “Tough” at the beginning of the month. The exact release date, however, caused confusion among fans. This is because the announcement made by the artists gives two different days for the song to hit digital platforms: July 3rd and 4th.

It is not yet known when the song will be released, but some fans have theorized that the dates could mean the release of the song and a music video, respectively. In February of this year, Lana Del Rey announced the album “Lasso”. The project will be more focused on the country genre and will be released in September of this year.

Katy Perry – “Woman’s World” (July 11)

Katy Perry is preparing to release a studio album four years after the release of her last album, “Smile”. The name of the new project has not yet been revealed, but its first single, “Woman’s World”, will be released on the 11th, while the video will be released the following day, the 12th.

BTS’s Jimin – “Muse” (July 19)

Singer Jimin, a member of the K-pop group BTS, will release a solo album titled “Muse”. The project comes amid a hiatus for the South Korean group. The members “separated” in 2023 to fulfill military service.

Among the seven tracks that will make up the album, the album will feature partnerships with American singer Sofia Carson and rapper Loco. The song with the “Descendants” actress is titled “Slow Dance”. Loco, in turn, is part of “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band”.
