Katy Perry talks about Rock in Rio and Brazilian fans: “They’re all over my career”

The singer Katy Perry mentioned the Rock in Rio and Brazilian fans in a live held this Tuesday (25). The artist, who is in Paris, France, revealed her expectations to come to the festival, which takes place in September this year.

“It will be on September 20th and it will be a lot of fun. You have to go, seriously, because it will be one of the most important moments of KP6 and this era, and it will be a party you have to be at!”, he mentions when revealing details of his next album.

“I think it’s sold out and it was kind of weird, because it sold out in like 143 something, it was a sign for me. It will be a party because we love Brazilians and they have been present throughout my career and we are going to give them this moment”, he adds in his speech.

The singer is one of the confirmed attractions at Rock in Rio and will sing at the festival on September 20th, when Karol G, Cyndi Lauper, Ivete Sangalo, Iza, Gloria Gaynor and Tyla will also perform in the title “Dia Delas”. As mentioned by Katy, tickets for this day are already sold out.

The festival itself shared an excerpt from live in which Katy mentions Brazil, on X, the old Twitter. Look:

This Monday (24), Katy Perry had already interacted with Brazilians by sharing the publication of a katycat – as the singer’s fans are known.

The post from the profile identified as Andrey showed a poster of the new song “Woman’s World” pasted on a bus. “I love you guys”, wrote the pop diva when replying to the publication.

The release should be part of a new album by the singer, who released her last album, “Smile”, in 2020.
