The car that ran over the actor Kayky Brito, in the early hours of Saturday (2nd), has already undergone expertise and has been released to the driver.

Today, the permitted speed on the road is 70 km/h, but it should decrease, according to Mayor Eduardo Paes, who asked the Traffic Engineering Company to change the speed limit on the city’s edges.
“I determined that CET-Rio present me with a change in the limit of Rio’s waterfront later this week. And we are going to move forward with these changes in other roads in the city!”, he wrote on social networks.
The accident happened on Avenida Lucio Costa, in Barra da Tijuca, at the height of post 6, when the actor was crossing the street outside the crosswalk and was hit by the app driver’s vehicle.
He is admitted to the ICU, sedated and breathing with the help of machines, according to the latest medical bulletin from the Hospital Copa D’or, where Kayky is hospitalized.
This Monday (4), the passenger who was in the car that ran over the actor, in the early hours of Saturday (2), in Rio de Janeiro, gave a statement to the police.
She stated that the app driver drove at a “quiet” speed, and behaved prudently throughout the journey.
