Just when you thought Keanu Reeves couldn’t be any nicer, he appears in an online Q&A and answers if he’s ever stolen anything from any of his many movie sets.
“Not stolen… ‘John Wick’ watch and wedding ring, a ’47 Ronin’ sword and the first red pill [pílula vermelha] that the Wachowskis already gave me,” Reeves replied.
Yes, that means Reeves took the red pill from “The Matrix”, the same one that Neo chose in the movie.
The actor is currently promoting his latest film “John Wick”, the fourth in the franchise.
Both “The Matrix” and “John Wick” franchises have some overlap when it comes to physicality. Both involved martial arts and Reeves was asked about the action.
“Nothing can compare to the ‘Matrix’ kung fu training because it was so unique and my first time…”, replied the star.
Reeves also responded to a question about his aspirations if he hadn’t gotten into acting.
“Well, when I was a kid, I always said I wanted to be a race car driver or a conductor or an astrophysicist,” he said. “Today we are going to conduct some music.”
Just don’t ask him what his favorite movie he’s starred in is.
“I was very lucky to work on some movies that changed my life. I can’t pick just one,” Reeves said. “But here are some – ‘River’s Edge’ [Juventude Assassina, no Brasil]’Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure’ [Bill e Ted: Uma aventura Fantástica]’Matrix’ trilogy, ‘Devil’s Lawyer’, ‘The Double Man’, ‘Garotos de Programa’, ‘Emotion Hunters’ and ‘John Wick’”, replied the star.
