Microsoft has made many innovations in Windows 11, but not all of which were immediately noticed. And here is one of these: in the new OS, the process of copying or moving files is now displayed not only in the corresponding window, but also below, on the taskbar. How this happens is clearly shown in the image below.

This is undoubtedly a useful innovation: due to such a duplicate indicator, it is much easier to follow the data copying process. But there is another unobvious innovation in Windows 11 related to folders: for some reason, the mode of displaying thumbnails of files located in a particular folder disappeared in the new OS.

And so folders and thumbnails with their contents are displayed in Windows XP

Because of this, it became more difficult to navigate the folders. Some concerned users have already begun to create petitions to return the usual display mode of folders, while others are even asking to return the display mode of folders, which was in Windows XP.
