Keira Knightley: “No more nude scenes (and sex) to please men”

The children were the first to induce Keira Knightley to review their film contracts. The actress, once she became a mother, decided that she would no longer lend herself to nude scenes. So, on his contracts, he had a clause inserted that best specified what he could do on set and what not. “It was dictated, in part, by vanity, in part, by the vision of males,” explained Knightley, host of the podcast Chanel Connects. “I understand that some directors need to have an exciting character on set,” but there are “horrible sex scenes where you get greasy and grunt.”

“I feel very uncomfortable today in having to shape male fantasies,” he explained, tracing the discomfort (also) to motherhood. “I am very vain and my body has given birth to two children to date. I simply prefer not to find myself naked in the middle of a group of men ». This composition makes all the difference in the world.

Keira Knightley has not closed tout-court to nude or sex scenes. «I have not placed an absolute veto. I did it, if a man is directing, ”she explained, declaring herself open to showing herself naked in a female film, which tells of the change due to motherhood and the consequent self-acceptance process.
