'Kensington Palace chose secrecy' for Kate Middleton – 'Almost everything heard is false'

Clarifications for Kate Middleton gave on Tuesday (23/1) the adviser of the House of Lords, Ioannis Houndis during his television interview. “Kensington Palace chose secrecy” pointed out and emphasized that “rumors abound”.

“While the protocol does not require secrecy, almost everything that is heard is inaccuracy,” he told ERT and the “Connections” show, explaining that Buckingham Palace, which is responsible for the royal couple's communications, gave many details of the operation bulging protector concerning Charles III, while on the other hand Kensington Palace which is responsible for the communications of the prince and princess of walesfollows a different tactic.

“What I can tell you responsibly is how there is no serious or specific information regarding her health issue. In terms of protocol, there is no specific process in the sense that the Princess of Wales is not in the line of succession to the throne. Her health is therefore a private matter for the royal family. It is not an institutional or state issue, as it would be if the Prince of Wales or his son, who is in the line of succession, had a health issue.
Nevertheless, the Princess of Wales is very popular,” said Ioannis Houndis.

Asked about a similar incident, he recalled that Queen Camilla had undergone a hysterectomy in 2007. She was then the wife of the Prince of Wales and “the difference is that she was only in hospital for four days. She had not been bedridden for two weeks like the Princess of Wales, but she had also been out of action post-surgery for three months.'
