The popular Shark Tank show host and well-known investor said that despite what is happening with the FTX exchange and Alameda subsidiary, he would finance the next project of their founder.
According to Kevin O’Leary, Sam Bankman-Fried will have to go through a lot of “rocks and arrows”. However, the investor still likes the founder of FTX and O’Leary feels sorry for Benkman-Fried.
“You can love or hate him for what happened. But, of course, he was one of the most brilliant traders in the crypto-currency field. I would provide funds to the new Bankman-Fried company,” Kevin O’Leary said during a conversation with Onchain Capital CEO Ran Neuner during the Crypto Banter program.
Cryptocurrency exchange FTX is in the process of bankruptcy. Perhaps the problems of this trading platform are solvable – it was previously reported that the amount of debts and various encumbrances from FTX is $ 9 billion. At the same time, the total amount of assets on the company’s wallets is quite sufficient, the problem is that these are either low-liquid or completely illiquid assets. In addition, the prices of these assets declined significantly after the initiation of the bankruptcy process.
