Kia increasingly electric thanks to the new Niro and two super cars

As it will be for all other Kia models from 2025, the new Niro also has a integrated connection system in the car that allows you to receive software updates and useful driving data such as those that allow you to set the driving mode Greenzonewhich automatically activates the electric drive when you are in the vicinity of residential areas, schools or ZTL.

The new Kia Niro will arrive on the Italian market by the end of the summer with hybrid electric (HEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and electric battery (BEV) engines with prices in line with the previous version but also with the promise of making access to the world of electricity accessible to all.

EV6 GT: a surprising racing car \

With the ambitious goal of becoming the first car brand in electric-only vehicles by 2030, Kia clearly shows what emotions this type of motorization can give with the brilliant EV6 GT. This sporty version of the model that won the “Car of the Year 2022” award has little to envy to the most famous super cars.

The electric crossover with coupé-inspired lines is in fact equipped with double electric motor, rear and front, capable of expressing a total power of 430 kW, the equivalent of 585 horsepower. A power that translates into a powerful acceleration, able to pass from 0 km to 100 in just 3.5 seconds and to reach a road speed of 260 km / h.

Numbers that say a lot about the “aggressive” character of the EV6 GT clearly designed for whom wants maximum performance without, however, giving up a vehicle to use every day, even when fully loaded with 5 passengers. Among the pluses of this car there is the battery with the 800V ultra-fast charging system, capable of carrying the charge from 10 to 80% in just 18 minutes. It will come to us between November and December.

EV9 Concept: the future is already here

And if the future is certainly electric, maybe the next cars will look like the EV9 Concept which, as the name implies, is still a sort of prototype but which Kia intends to produce as early as next year. The interesting news is that this SUV will not be very different from what Korean designers imagined.

The look should remain nearly identical, then definitely bold and probably polarizing between those who will love it and those who will consider it exaggerated. Of course, the EV9 Concept will not only get noticed on the street but will become an accelerator for the entire electric vehicle sector, pushing other car manufacturers to be more daring.

Of important dimensions and with an aesthetic that is inspired by water, Kia’s electric SUV aims to seduce a certainly eclectic public but also looks to the substance, both from the point of view of performance and as regards passenger comfort that you can sit in a real living room on the go. To find out more, you have to wait until 2023.
