Kieran Culkin, who wins an Emmy and tells his wife “I want another child”

Kieran Culkin he stood on the podium again. The actor, after his victory at the Golden Globes last January 8, triumphed at the 2024 Emmys again as Best Actor in a Drama Series for his role in Succession.

Culkin, who plays the irreverent and horrible brother Roman Roy, has changed tone at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. A week ago, in fact, with the award in hand he preferred to make everyone laugh, even making fun of his friend and nomination rival Pedro Pascal. He had shouted to him: “Take this, Pedro.”

Now, however, the 41-year-old actor it got personal. Maybe too much. After all, we had already seen him at the beginning of the evening, on the red carpet, hugging the wife Jazz Charton35. As per the cliché of the perfect acceptance speech, Culkin started off with thanks the mother «for having given me life and my childhood, which was fantastic. So thank you for this», and then he turned to his wife sitting in the audience: «Thank you, for sharing your life with me and for giving me two fantastic children. And Jazz, I'd like another one. You said maybe if I win… and I won.” The camera then moved to her, Jazz Charton, who appeared (at least publicly) moved and amused.
