Kiev received another 1,200 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers from Russia

Ukraine announced today that it has received the corpses of 1,200 Ukrainian soldiers killed in the war with Russia as part of the exchanging war and dead soldiers agreements. Russia handed over the corpses, but it did not receive any corpses in the exchange, reports TASS’s state -run news agency citing its anonymity. “According to the Russian side, the corpses belong to Ukrainian citizens, including military personnel,” the Coordinating Committee on the exchange of prisoners of war in its post in the Telegram application, adding that experts will carry out identification tests. The committee has released photos of people in white protective costumes carrying the logo of the International Red Cross Committee on an unknown location standing and walking next to rail wagons.
