North Korean leader Kim Jong Un assured the head of Russian diplomacy for his “unconditional” support in Russia in the ongoing war against Ukraine, expressing his “vigorous belief” that the victory of Moscow is a “victory”. According to the state -run KCNA news agency, Mr Kim welcomed Mr Lavrov to a “atmosphere of warm companionship” as the two states tighten their diplomatic and military relations. The Russian Foreign Ministry has published for its part via a Telegram video in which the two men are depicted to tighten their hands as they exchanged compliments. Moscow and Pyongyang signed a defense agreement last year, which predicts that one would defend the other if it was attacked – North Korea then sent thousands of its military to assist in the recapture of the Kursk District, which had a large sections.
