THE King Charles C of Britain issued a statement yesterday Saturday in which it expresses gratitude for the messages of support it has received after his cancer diagnosis.
“I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for the many messages of support and well-wishes I have received over the past few days,” he says in his first public post since publicizing his health problem.
He also described it as encouraging that going public with his diagnosis helped raise public awareness and promote the work of organizations supporting cancer patients and their families both in the UK and around the world. “The admiration I have always had for their tireless care and devotion is even greater because of my personal experience,” adds the British monarch.
