THE King Charles welcomed the new prime minister to Buckingham Palace Liz Trussas he is now the new leader of Britain and described her death Elizabethas “the moment he was afraid”.
“The moment I dreaded, as I know for many other people“, he was heard to say welcoming the prime minister, a moment captured by television cameras.
Earlier, with his wife Camilla by his side, he accepted by hand the condolences of citizens for about 10 minutes. In fact, he stopped for a while to look at the innumerable bouquets that have been left by visitors at the entrance of the palace.

It is noted that Elizabeth has been on the throne since 1952, as a result of which the country has a new monarch for the first time in 70 years.
