THE King Charles he said today, in the meeting he had with the Prime Minister of Britain Rishi Sunakthat he was so touched by the messages of support which he received after being diagnosed with cancerwhere burst into tears.
The palace announced earlier this month that Charles, 75, he is suffering from cancerless than 18 months after he ascended the throne.
“I received so many wonderful messages and cards (…) most of the time I was in tears» said Charles in the weekly audience he grants to the prime minister.
“Everyone's rooting for you,” Sunak replied.
These hearings, as reported by APE-MPE, are held in private, however cameras have sometimes been allowed to capture footage from the beginning of the meeting. Today was Charles' first official hearing with Sunak since it was revealed the king is suffering from an unspecified form of cancer. Buckingham Palace has assured that the king will continue to carry out his official duties while he undergoes treatment.
Sunak began the conversation by telling King Charles that it's wonderful to see him looking so good.
