Kirsten Dunst spoke about the extreme salary gap between her and Toby Maguire in ‘Spider-Man’

Recently, Kirsten Dunst spoke about the constant and alarming wage inequality that exists between men and women in Hollywood and revealed the extreme wage inequality that existed between her and Tobey Maguire while they worked together on the first franchise of Spider-Man.

Dunst, who played Mary Jane in the successful franchise that started in 2002, stated that the difference was too extreme, but that she ended up accepting the salary, since at the beginning, she understood that the story was about Peter Parker, a character played by Maguire, although in the following two installments, his character was central to the plot.
