The second BBB25 Monster Punishment pays homage to the champion of the first edition of the reality show, Kleber Bambam . The punished — the duo Mike and Gabriel — they will have to wear a costume reminiscent of the BBB1 participant and carry the doll Maria Eugenia which became one of the program’s milestones, throughout the time they were in the dynamic.
On his social networks, Bambam commented on the tribute paid to him at BBB25. “When I sometimes say that I am the greatest of all champions, it is not because I am the greatest. There’s a really cool story with the doll, and I keep watching it and thinking: ‘What a cool tribute from Tadeu, from Globo’. It’s a retrospective of when it all started”, he declares.
In the video, Bambam continues: “It’s not because he has the biggest following, it’s the legacy. I won the first Big Brother with the Maria Eugênia doll. And today Big Brother paid this wonderful tribute together with the doll for this new generation, who are under 20 years old, who have not seen my Big Brother, to get to know this doll, her story and my story with the doll, which 23 years ago…”

Remember the story of Kleber Bambam and Maria Eugênia
In the first edition of BBB, shown in 2002, Kleber Bambam created the character Maria Eugênia using items found in the program’s own home to feel less isolated. The doll became his confinement companion and, to this day, is remembered by the public.
One of the memorable moments of the doll’s participation in the program was when the production decided to remove Maria Eugênia from the house. At the time, Bambam couldn’t hold back his tears and asked the producers to return his partner — and the request was granted. The doll accompanied him to the final of the edition, being considered champion, symbolically, alongside his brother.
