Kouroublis unrepentant after his deletion: I do not take back the conversation – I do not even care if I will be an MP

Panagiotis Kouroumblis does not take back the words he said yesterday in Parliament and led to his removal from the SYRIZA parliamentary group.

“For those who think it was a heavy conversation … Well, nice. I said it and I will not take it back. What can we do now …”, said the now independent MP, speaking on SKAI TV and the show ” Today”.

Mr. Kouroublis said that he did not tell anyone that he was a murderer but that the policies pursued were murderous, and that what he said was a “cry of agony” because people die helplessly outside the ICU. “People die unjustly, yes or no? That’s the issue,” he said.

“They were caught by a word to turn the conversation around,” he said characteristically, adding that he did what his conscience told him to do and now pays the cost of that choice.

I have not spoken to Tsipras – I do not care about my deletion

The independent MP said that he has not spoken with the president of SYRIZA Alexis Tsipras, who deleted him while he was in Brussels.

In any case, he said that he has a clear conscience and does not care about his removal and whether or not he will be an MP.

“Whether I scored an own goal or not will be judged when the time comes,” he added, explaining that he is not resigning from his parliamentary seat because thousands of people voted for him and when the time comes, the people will send him “home”.

File a lawsuit against me – I also waive my parliamentary immunity

“Anyone who thinks they are being harmed, I declare that I am resigning from the protection of my immunity and to sue me. Let’s go to the courts and see what is happening inside the hospitals,” Kouroublis stressed.
