Kourtney goes on to tell her mother that, in addition to crying for hours, after stepping on her ring she called her fiancé to tell him what happened.
I told him, ‘I did something very, very bad.’ And he handled the situation in the best way. But he really gave me a nervous breakdown. I thought, ‘this is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever had in my life, how could I have done it?’
Kourtney later praised Travis’ choice of ring during a confessional, emphasizing that the ring was much more than just a luxurious piece of jewelry.
Travis chose it himself, he designed it, he looked at so many stones, and this was like me in a stone, so I thought it was really special.
