Fans of “Kraven the Hunter ” had a big surprise this Sunday (8), the last day of CCXP24 . During a surprise panel from Sony Pictures the company treated the audience on the Thunder Stage to an exclusive screening of several short scenes from the new Marvel film.
“Kraven: The Hunter” will bring to theaters one of the villains from the Spider-Man franchise, who was first introduced in the hero comics in the 1960s . Of Russian origin, the character is a genetically modified human and comes from a family of hunters, being obsessed with capturing and eliminating Teioso.
According to the film’s official synopsis, we will follow Russian immigrant Sergei Kravinoff, known as Kraven, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, whose mission is to prove himself as the greatest hunter in the world . The film is directed by JC Chandor (“The Most Violent Year”).
In addition to Taylor-Johnson, the film’s cast includes Ariana DeBose (“Love, Sublime Love”), Fred Hechinger (“The White Lotus”), Alessandro Nivola (“The Many Saints of Newark”), Christopher Abbott (“Girls”) and Russell Crowe (“Gladiator”).
New production from Marvel Studios, “Kraven, The Hunter” arrives in Brazilian cinemas on December 12th .
