Kremlin: It has not been decided whether Putin will attend the G20 summit in person

LAST UPDATE: 13:44

Russia is preparing for this year’s G20 summit in Indonesia, but has not yet decided whether President Vladimir Putin will attend in person or in person, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peshkov said on Friday, according to Reuters.

Indonesia currently chairs the Group of 20 largest economies. He has invited both President Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the leaders’ summit in November, despite pressure from some Western countries to exclude the Russian president.

The Kremlin has also said that US President Joe Biden’s proposal to allow US officials to liquidate confiscated Russian assets and use the funds to support Ukraine is illegal.
