Kremlin: We do not publicly discuss the course of talks with the US and NATO

The Kremlin has been informed by the Spanish newspaper El Pais about the US and NATO responses to Russia’s proposals for security guarantees, but prefers not to comment, and does not want to discuss the course of the talks in public at this stage. with the US and NATO, said today the spokesman of the Russian president Dmitry Peshkov.

“We did not publish anything. I do not want to comment, you should contact El Pais or the Spanish leadership, I do not know, but at least not to us,” Peshkov said.

The Spanish newspaper El Pais wrote that according to confidential documents which include the written answers of Washington and NATO to Russia’s demands in the field of security. that Washington is prepared to commit not to deploy surface-to-air missiles and combat forces in Ukraine if Russia agrees to do the same.
