Kulempa: NATO’s position on no-fly zone disappointing

LAST UPDATE: 20.35

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said on Saturday that he expected the results of his talks with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to be implemented in the coming days, including new sanctions against Russia and more weapons for Ukraine. as reported by Reuters.

Kuleba also said it was disappointing that the NATO alliance refused to impose a no-fly zone over Ukraine, saying it would lead to more civilian deaths.

Blinken and Kuleba met on Ukraine’s border with Poland on Saturday to discuss Western efforts to support Ukraine and isolate Russia in hopes of ending the war.

“It is no secret that our most important request concerns fighter jets and air defense systems,” Kuleba told Blinken at a meeting at Poland’s Korcova-Krakowets border post.

According to the Ukrainian minister, there are no humanitarian corridors in his country because Russia is violating the agreements.
