“La Dolce Villa” Netflix’s new romantic comedy featuring Scott Foley known for his role in “Felicity”, received a trailer this Wednesday (22). The film’s direction is Mark Waters director responsible for titles such as “Mean Girls” (2004) and “What If It Were True” (2005).
In the plot, he will play the successful businessman Eric, who travels to Italy to stop his dreamy daughter, Olivia (Maia Reficco), from spending her savings on restoring a dilapidated villa she bought for 1 euro.
Italy, however, has different plans for him as it fulfills its legendary promise of beauty, magic and romance, the description says. According to information from Netflix, the production was filmed on location, in the homonymous “La Dolce Villa” and in Rome, eastern Lazio and Tuscany, for more than four weeks.
