Britain’s opposition Labor Party received around £4.4 million in donations in the second week of campaigning for next month’s elections, according to official figures, more than 14 times more than the governing Conservative Party.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s Conservatives, who trail Labor by around 20 points in opinion polls ahead of the July 4 election, received just £292,500, according to weekly data released by the Electoral Commission this week. Friday (21).
