Singer Lady Gaga denied, on Tuesday (4), rumors that she was pregnant. The American made a post on her official TikTok account and cited Taylor Swift to dispel the rumors.
“I’m not pregnant, I’m just down, crying in the gym”, wrote the voice of “Shallow” and “Poker Face” in the video published on the Chinese social network.
Gaga used “down bad”, an English expression that means “down” or “sad” and gives the name to a song from the album “The Tortured Poets Department”, in her statement. Fans of the singers then began to speculate about an unprecedented collaboration between the two in the comments of the “A Star Is Born” star’s publication.
Taylor Swift also left her comment on Gaga’s video. The voice of “Style” and “Fortnight” criticized those who commented on her professional colleague’s body and exposed the machismo behind this stance.
“It is invasive and irresponsible to comment on a woman’s body. Gaga doesn’t owe anyone an explanation, just like no other woman,” wrote Taylor.
On May 25th, Lady Gaga officially announced that she will release her seventh studio album. The date marked the four-year anniversary since the singer’s last album, “Chromatica”, arrived on music platforms.
