Lady Gaga in Brazil: Remember 5 hits that won a Brazilian version

Singer Lady Gaga, 39, who will perform a free show in Copacabana on Saturday (3), has seen some of her main hits serve as the basis for the birth of Brazilian versions, with a lot of forró and technomelody.

The American arrived in Brazil on Tuesday (29) to do the one that must be the biggest show of her career. The presentation, which has been called by Gaga “Mayhem on the Beach”, will be the singer’s first here since 2012, when she brought “Born This Way Ball Tour”. In the first pass, she rode the streets of Rio de Janeiro, climbed the hills of the city, drank beer and even got a tattoo with the name of the state capital.

Gaga’s connection with Brazil, however, is not restricted to this. Great exponents of the genres, such as the band Avião do Forró and singer Viviane Batitude used and abused hits such as “Alejandro” and “Bad Romance” to create their own versions. She even recorded a remix version of “Fun Tonight” with Pabllo Vittar.

Check out five Lady Gaga songs that were abrased

1 – “Alejandro” became “Alexandre”, from Forró Airplanes

2 – “Paparazzi”, from the black panties

3 – “Bad Romance” became “No Want Romance”, by the band Xeiro Verde

4 – “Shallow” turned “I’m with you”, by Viviane Batitude

5 – “Million Reasons” turned “Go away” by Viviane Batão

Bonus: “Fun Tonight Remix”, with Pabllo Vittar
