From midnight this Saturday (3), start access to the access to the neighborhood of Copacabana, where will be held the show of singer Lady Gaga, scheduled to start at 9:45 pm. Chartered buses will not be allowed to enter the neighborhood, and will not be able to park in neighboring neighborhoods, such as Botafogo, Ipanema, Lagoa and Urca.
From 7 am on Saturday, Avenida Atlântica will be fully banned, with vehicle blockade across the road, including the track next to the buildings and the streets of access to the waterfront. Already from 18h, begins to block the access of private vehicles to Copacabana, being allowed only the entry of buses and taxis. After 7:30 pm, buses and taxis will not be able to enter the neighborhood either.
Reopening
The release of external blocks will start at 4am on Sunday (4), except for Avenida Atlantica, which will continue to be closed for traffic until 6am. From this time, the road will be reopened for vehicles.
Shipment
The main boarding point on the day of the show will be the Botafogo Enseada Terminal, located at Avenida das Nações Unidas. Between 7:30 pm Saturday and 4:00 am Sunday (4), the terminal will concentrate all shipments.
From there will come out regular bus lines to the South Zone, including access to Barra da Tijuca, Recreio and Jacarepaguá, in the West Zone. The terminal will also be used for access to the North Zone, towards Tijuca and Méier.
Subway
The Metrôrio dealership will have special operation with the three Copacabana subway stations opened for 24 hours from Saturday to Sunday. Cardinal Arcoverde station will only work for landing between 16h and 22h on Saturday (3)
After midnight, all subway stations, except those of Copacabana, will only work for landing. On the way back, the public will be able to use the Siqueira Campos, Cantagalo and Cardeal Arcoverde stations, which will be open 24 hours.
Trains and BRT
On Saturday, after the show, extra trains will wait for fans who will return from subway to go home by train. Central Brazil will be the only open station for passenger boarding. Central do Brasil will reopen at 0am to attend to the end of the show and the other stations will operate at dawn only for landing.
The BRT will have a fleet reinforcement in services 60 (kindness x deodoro – parador) and 22 (ocean garden x Alvorada – parador) on Saturday night (3) and Sunday dawn (4). The Direct Executive Service Terminal Genteza vs. Galeão Airport will operate throughout the morning with matches of the kindness towards Galeão every hour.
The VLT will also have exceptional operation for the show, with 24 -hour operation.
